Well I have been working on and off in Dallas' room. I am mostly finished except for:
1. The chandelier - it has been too cold to go outside and spray paint
2. hanging the beaded/jeweled curtain from the ceiling
3. rehanging her headboard, which fell off of the wall
4. photos on the wall
There were also a few things that I omitted because I think her room would have begun to look junkie...
1. Cornices
2. Hanging crates on the wall for her shoes
3. the desk that I was building for her because is was too big
So without further or due here are the pictures:
There were alot of DIY for this room:
1. The hanging lamp, was actually a plant pot
2. The hanging bird cage was actually for wedding cards
3. The chalkboard was an old picture
4. The jewelry holders were made from platters from the dollar store
5. The dresser was thrifted for free and I recovered with fabric and changed the knobs
6. The mirror was also free, came with the dresser
7. I redid the cushions on the chair
8. I made the book holders on the wall
I really am happy with the way that it turned out!!!
